Make a robot

school project #6457

Although most people associate robots and science fiction with films, they exist in real life and are used in fields such as manufacturing, health care and even manufacturing. Every two years modern robots can be seen in the International Robot Exhibition in Tokyo. Modern robots can place bolts on an auto or fill up a prescription bottle with pills, and even flip pancakes. Although it’s difficult to construct an advanced robot making one move through the room is only some hours.

  1. Try testing the remote-controlled truck chassis using the remote to be sure it’s working. The screws which attach both the truck’s body and chassis by using a screwdriver. Next, you can gently push your antenna through the hole. Keep the bumper attached. Keep spare screws aside and any other pieces.
Wedge the 1 by 2 inch wooden block over an open area of the tub made of plastic. If it’s too big, sand it down just enough to make it fit snugly into the opening. Set the chassis over its side with the wheels facing upwards and its front bumper touching the tub. The flat portion of the chassis, just over the compartment of the battery should be attached into the base. Make sure not to glue any other thing. The body of the robot.

Once the glue is dry When the glue is dried, flip it over until the end that is open has a downward angle. Center the food storage container’s lid on the bottom. It’s crucial that the lid faces toward the upward direction, which will allow you to fix it in place later. You can use a drill in order to create an opening in the lid and body of the robot. Install a bolt into the hole. After tightening the bolt, put two washers over the bolt. The lid is now linked to the robot’s body. Join the lid with the container so that it’s upside-down.
Drill a hole in the body of the robot in order to join them to the back bumper of the truck chassis. Join the body of the robot and truck chassis with the help of a bolt, nut and two flat washers. Each side of the body is to be attached to the chassis. Check that the wheels have enough room to rotate. Neatly tape the antenna wire in the robot.
To secure the bumper made of foam to the robot, you need to drill two parallel holes through every quarter of the body until there are eight holes evenly spread across the circumference. Wrap the wire ties around the foam noodles, and put them in the holes. Remote control the robot.
